Awkward Video Of Mitch McConnell Taking A Tumble Resurfaces On Twitter After He Immediately Politicizes RBG's Death

Awkward Video Of Mitch McConnell Taking A Tumble Resurfaces On Twitter After He Immediately Politicizes RBG's Death
@BagdMilkSoWhat/Twitter

A mere two hours following the death of Supreme Court justice and feminist icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell issued a statement saying that "President Trump's nominee will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate."

Considering how little time had past since RBG's death, McConnell's statement would have been in poor taste regardless.

It was made all the more enraging, however, due to the fact that McConnell denied President Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland a vote for the entire last year of his Presidency.

After McConnell issued his statement, an old video of the politician falling over at a campaign rally went viral on Facebook.

Many Twitter users took what solace they could in this embarrassing moment.

McConnell has been personally responsible for much of our nation's polarization.

Many hoped that November 2020 will bring an end to McConnell's power.

Among liberals, there are few figures more abhorred than Mitch McConnell.

You know you've done something wrong when the internet rejoices at every tiny trip or tumble you take.
