Boebert Blasted For Saying She Won't 'Nitpick What Bible Says' In Regard To Son's Girlfriend's Pregnancy

The MAGA Rep. put her hypocrisy on full display after saying she refuses to 'nitpick what the Bible says' in regards to her 17-year-old son having premarital sex with his 14-year-old girlfriend.

Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert has often invoked God in political discussions and is now being criticized for her hypocritical stance on what the Bible states about premarital sex in regard to her teenage son's girlfriend's pregnancy.

Boebert recently spoke about her son Tyler’s impending fatherhood during an interview on The Rubin Report, a conservative political talk show. Boebert was asked by host Dave Rubin if Tyler’s girlfriend’s pregnancy "challenged" any of her beliefs as a Christian.

Boebert replied that while there are standards to uphold, she doesn’t plan to "nitpick what the Bible says" about the situation. She stated that having a "heart posture of wanting to serve God" is more important, and she plans to teach her son about "redemption and moving forward."

You can hear what Boebert said in the video below.

Boebert said:

"Obviously, I'm a Christian, and there are standards that we like to uphold, but none of us do it perfectly... There’s things all throughout the week that I know is right to do and sometimes, you know, I don’t do them."
"We can nitpick what the Bible says is right and wrong, but I think just having that heart posture of wanting to serve God, it's so important."

Boebert, who is 36 years old, announced her own impending grandmotherhood at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in March. She stated she will become a “gigi” to her grandson in April.

Tyler was originally planning to attend a university in Florida, but will now take petroleum engineering classes at a local community college.

Boebert has been vocal about her religious beliefs in the past and invoked God when discussing political matters.

She was a teen mother herself, dropping out of high school in 2004 after becoming pregnant with her boyfriend Jayson Boebert’s child. The couple later married and have four children together.

Many have criticized Boebert’s comments as lacking in accountability for her son’s actions.

Boebert has previously criticized "comprehensive sex education" as unsuitable for children, stating no public school students should be exposed to such information and schools providing it should have their funding reduced.

She also asserted elementary school students were being taught such subjects, but did not provide evidence to support her claim.

Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advocates offering sexual education and other resources to teenagers to prevent teen pregnancies.

Trump Made A Petty Dig At Taylor Swift During The Eagles' White House Visit—Because Of Course

President Donald Trump was called out after he made a petty dig at pop star Taylor Swift during his speech for the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles' visit to the White House.

In a brief speech, Trump acknowledged the Eagles' 40–22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs was “a little surprising,” a remark that appeared to reference the Chiefs' consecutive Super Bowl victories in 2023 and 2024. He then shifted focus to Swift, getting in a petty swipe drawing attention to Swift's presence at the game to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, play tight end for the losing team.
