Oakland A's announcer Glen Kuiper was suspended indefinitely after saying a racial slur on air.
Kuiper was talking about his visit to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City but instead of saying Negro Leagues, he used the n-word.
After the incident, NBC Sports California said Kuiper would be off air while the situation was reviewed.
Kuiper apologized on air in two different instances.
"A little earlier in the show, I said something, didn’t come out quite the way I wanted it to. I just wanted to apologize if it sounded different than I meant it to be said.”
“I could not be more sorry and horrified what what I said.”

Many took to social media to weigh in on the incident.
Oakland A's management also denounced Kuiper's actions.
In an official statement, they wrote:
"The language used by Glen Kuiper during today's pregame broadcast is unacceptable."
"The Oakland Athletics do not condone such language. We are working to address the situation."
No timeline was provided for a decision on Kuiper's
