Steve Bannon—former chairman of Breitbart News and Trump administration White House chief strategist—was permanently suspended from Twitter. The suspension on Thursday occurred after Bannon called for the beheadings of Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI Director Christopher Wray.

Bannon is currently out on a $5 million bail package for other charges. He made the violent comments on his suggestively titled YouTube podcast War Room.

YouTube has also suspended the account and pulled the original video.

Bannon began with false claims President Trump had won the election. He then suggested Trump's "second term kicks off" with firing Fauci and Wray.

In the video Bannon said:

"Second term kicks off with firing Wray, firing Fauci, no, I actually want to go a step farther, but the president is a kind-hearted man and a good man,"
"I'd put the heads on pikes. Right. I'd put them at the two corners of the White House as a warning to federal bureaucrats. You either get with the program or you are gone."

Twitter users were disgusted at the commentary from Bannon.

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed to reporters this week that officials in his administration suddenly found $30 billion they "never knew existed"—located on what Trump referred to as the "tariff shelf."

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.
