Actor Paget Brewster, now 53, went viral after sharing her New Year's Day thoughts on cosmetic surgery.

Actor Paget Brewster is choosing to age gracefully and reject Hollywood's unrealistic expectation regarding aging, especially in women.

The Criminal Minds star kicked off the new year with a fierce tweet.

Brewster, 53, said:

"Hi guys. I'm excited about 2023!"
"It's hard getting older and not doing injections or surgery but I choose that."
"I'm older. I'm still hard working, inquisitive and sexy."
"Very sexy."

The twitterverse was in full agreement with Brewster, many also sharing their own experiences with aging.

Over the summer, Paget tweeted that she had been pressured to conceal her gray hair, but she said, "No thanks."
