Donald Trump Says He's Willing to Go to War on Behalf of Saudi Arabia Because 'Saudi Arabia Pays Cash'

Donald Trump Says He's Willing to Go to War on Behalf of Saudi Arabia Because 'Saudi Arabia Pays Cash'
Fox News

So messed up.

Following an attack on Saudi Arabia's oil supply, President Donald Trump's submission to the country was on full display yet again.

This time, the President tweeted that the United States was "locked and loaded" and awaiting instructions from Saudi Arabia.

Houthi rebels have claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Trump administration has declared Iran responsible.

Trump's "locked and loaded" tweet concerned many who were trepidatious about the United States beginning another conflict in the Middle East on Saudi Arabia's behalf. Trump attempted to defend the position while speaking with reporters in the Oval Office.

The comments came immediately after Trump insisted that Saudi Arabia would "be very much involved in paying for" US troops' assistance in a military conflict.

Watch below.

Trump praised Saudi Arabia as an ally, despite Saudi leaders hacking Washington Post reporter Jamal Khashoggi to pieces with a bone saw last year, with virtually no rebuke from the White House.

Trump continued:

"The Saudis are going to have a lot of involvement in this if we decide to do something...and that includes payment and they understand that fully...Saudi Arabia pays cash. They've helped us out from the standpoint of jobs and all of the other things."

It's no doubt that Saudi Arabia has personally enriched Donald Trump. In 2001, Trump sold the entire 45th floor of Trump World Tower to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Money was also the reason Trump defended the White House's inaction in the wake of Jamal Khashoggi's murder, with Trump saying: “I don't like stopping an investment of $110 billion in the United States.” Trump was referring to an arms deal between the Saudis and the U.S. In reality, the deal made nowhere near that much.

People, sadly, aren't surprised that money continues to be the deciding factor for Trump, even if his desire for more of it upends American foreign policy. What did surprise people was a U.S. President's willingness to put the troops up for rent.

Trump is expected to take a course of action as soon as he gets instructions from Saudi Arabia.

Even Fox News personality Jesse Watters' own colleagues pushed back after he dismissed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as just a "female" who will be a "footnote" in history following her remarks that former President Joe Biden's reelection bid was a "terrible mistake" for the Democrats.

Clinton argued that Biden's first significant error was deciding to seek a second term after initially presenting himself as a bridge to a new generation of Democratic leadership.

Fox News Just Told The Truth About Why Iran Is So 'Eager' To Sign Onto Trump's New 'Deal'

In an unexpected twist for Rupert Murdoch's Fox News, nepo-baby White House correspondent Peter Doocy called out MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's deal to end the war he and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel provoked with Iran and reopen the Strait of Hormuz that was closed because of their actions.

The son of Fox News veteran Steve Doocy spoke to Fox News host Will Cain on Tuesday from Geneva, Switzerland, where Trump was attending the G7 Summit. Cain asked Doocy if he could hear what Trump said, to which he replied that he could and that he agreed with Trump's assertion that he's "very rich."
