The actor couldn't help but zing Musk after he quoted Patinkin's character in the film, Inigo Montoya, during an interview with CNBC, saying 'offer me money, offer me power, I don’t care.'

Inconceivable!

Elon Musk tried to justify his ridiculous tweets and their negative impact by quoting Inigo Montoya, yes THE Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride.

In a recent interview with David Faber on CNBC, Musk was questioned about his usually controversial comments and posts on his own platform and whether or not they affect his business.

Musk took a loooong pause and then replied smugly:

“You know, I’m reminded of. There’s a scene in ‘The Princess Bride’ — great movie — where he confronts the person who killed his father and he says, ‘Offer me money, offer me power, I don’t care.’”

Faber asked for clarification:

"So you just don't care?"

And the CEO responded:

“I’ll say what I want to say and if the consequence of that is losing money, so be it."

You can watch the clip below.

But the man behind the iconic character, Mandy Patinkin himself, epically trolled Musk using another Princess Bride quote:

“I do not think it means what you think it means.”

Life is pain, Highness.

People on Musk's own platform rejoiced in Patinkin's clapback.

Of course, Patinkin is no stranger to quoting the hilarious fairy tale to get his point across.

Last week he picketed for the Writers Guild of America strike holding a sign that read:

"You killed residuals"
"Prepare to pay"

Well done, Mandy, well done.

Former GOP Senator Gets Brutal Wakeup Call After Criticizing People For Playing 'Candy Crush' Instead Of 'Making Babies'

Ben Sasse represented Nebraska in the United States Senate from 2015 to 2023. As a Midwestern moderate, the sometimes controversial Sasse was often critical of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump on social media and on the Senate floor.

At one point, the Nebraska GOP censured him because of his criticism of Trump. But Sasse, like Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins, would still vote with the majority of his party when his vote was needed to back Trump's agenda.
