Doctor's Hilariously Fitting Name Inspires People To Reveal Some Other Equally Bizarre Names

I think we can all agree that when someone's name is a little too "on the nose" in a novel, it can feel unrealistic.

Maybe you have a hard-nosed, stone worker named Flint, or a dark and brooding protagonist named Raven.

However, sometimes reality itself is unrealistic. I mean, a book on clinical neurology was written by a man named Lord Walter Brain. How much more "on the nose" can you get?

How about a doctor named Katherine Doktor?

With a last name like that, you really only have one choice, don't you? The image shows a news segment on local Fox 29, an interview with Dr. Katherine Doktor.

The image was shared to r/DunderMifflin, a subReddit board for jokes from the show The Office. In the show, Dwight tries to convince Michael that he has to leave for an appointment with his dentist, a man named Crentist.

The fact we have an actual doctor with the last name of Doktor, feels a lot closer though.

Maybe that's why she became a doktor - justkissitbunny
Is she a Vet? Her shortened name would be Kat Doktor - Mawbster
I used to work at Cooper Hospital and I would see her name all the time! Never failed to make me giggle :) - brit_garner
Dr. Doktor, gimme the news... - MapleDanish

Dr. Katherine Doktor is an infectious disease specialist with Cooper University Health Care. She was on the news segment to speak about the increase in patients her hospital has treated for flesh eating bacterial infections.

In the past two summers, her hospital has treated five patients with the infection, compared to only one in eight years prior. The cause of increased incidence is possibly linked to an increase in water temperature, the paper argues.

While this has serious implications, you likely don't have much to worry about if you're healthy.

Which is good, because it's far more fun to share stories about other people you know with perfect names for their profession.

My vet's name is Doctor Boctor. I asked him if he became a doctor because of his last name. He said 'no'. - PepeSilviaLoveCarol

My mom's primary care doctor is named "Dr. Butcher". I've begged my mom to ask her doctor why she didn't become a surgeon, but my mom refuses to ask. - P0rtal2
No joke, there's a dentist in my town named Dr. Fang - dankbob_memepants_

One particular name has to take the cake. There exists in this world a Dr. Richard Chopp, with a specialty in vasectomies.

He goes by the name, Dick.

There is a vasectomy specialist in my town named Dr. Dick Chopp. He is officially Richard, but does go by Dick when ya meet him. - Iremembermy1stbeet
Yikes he's got a 2.5 star rating on google. - MissColombia
I guess the name holds true - WalrusDubstep

While Dr. Doktor wasn't an on the spot lie, like the dentist named Crentist, she still feels just as unbelievable. There are worse reactions to have to a name though.

Earlier this year, a meme spread where people shared the most common reactions to their names, with people often mispronouncing simple names, or making bad puns.

Whatever the case, Dr. Doktor will definitely stick out in people's minds.

Melania Just Held A Bizarre Press Conference To Debunk 'False Smears' Related To Jeffrey Epstein—And Everyone Had The Same Response

First Lady Melania Trump had everyone thinking the same thing after she held a bizarre press conference on Thursday to deny that she had anything but casual ties to Jeffrey Epstein, the late disgraced financier, pedophile, sexual abuser, and sex trafficker.

Mrs. Trump publicly denied any ties to convicted sex offenders Epstein and his procurer Ghislaine Maxwell, saying claims linking her to Epstein are “lies” meant to damage her reputation. She said she met her husband, President Donald Trump at a New York City party in 1998 and did not meet Epstein until 2000, contradicting a witness statement in the Epstein files that alleges Epstein introduced the couple.

Dem Rep. Sarah McBride Perfectly Shames Nancy Mace For Her Transphobic Response To McBride's Condemnation Of Trump

Delaware Democratic Representative Sarah McBride pushed back at South Carolina Republican Representative Nancy Mace after Mace responded with transphobia to McBride's criticism of President Donald Trump's genocidal threat to kill the "whole civilization" of Iran.

Trump has insisted that God supports his war on Iran and declared—before a provisional ceasefire was announced—that "a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again" ahead of a deadline to bomb Iran’s power plants and bridges that legal scholars and world leaders have said would constitute war crimes.

Comedian Explains How Millennials' Midlife Crises Are Different From Past Generations—And He's Spot On

Don't make promises you cannot keep, unless your goal is to hurt someone.

Millennials know that practically better than anyone. They were fed a long and impassioned series of advice, hyper-focused on the importance of getting a college degree in order to find a good job. They were also force-fed traditionalist ideals of getting married, having kids, and buying a nice house with the money they'd be making from that great job, of course.
