Nikki Jurcutz, who operates child safety company Tiny Hearts Education, shared a video on Instagram to educate parents on when a bump is just a bump—and when it could be something more severe.

Child Safety expert Nikki Jurcutz of Tiny Hearts Education unloaded a wealth of helpful knowledge on Instagram revealing how to tell when a head bump warrants a 911 call and "needs attention quickly."

Jurcutz explained in the caption:

"These signs after a head injury = your child needs immediate medical attention."
"Even if they look completely fine. Even if they looked like they didn't land that hard. Even if it was an accident."
"These are all signs of a moderate to severe head injury, which could indicate that the brain has sustained some sort of damage from the injury."
"This one is so important because moderate to severe head injuries need attention quickly.:

Jurcutz shared the “three situations when you need to call an ambulance for your child immediately after a head bump.”

First, she revealed that if a child falls a distance greater than double their height, you should seek attention.

Another instance that requires immediate attention is if the child loses consciousness.

Jurcutz said the third sign is that they vomit more than once after the injury.

You can watch the highly informative video below.

Viewers of the video expressed their gratitude for the post and thanked Jurcutz for the potentially life-saving information.
