Former Trump Staffer Dylan Quattrucci learned the hard way how a seemingly innocuous post on social media has the potential to get you in more trouble than he bargained for.
Quattrucci was in attendance at the victory party of the former President and current front-runner for the Republican nomination, celebrating Trump's win in the New Hampshire primary.
Upon arrival, Quattrucci, who served as Trump's deputy state director during his 2020 presidential campaign, took a picture alongside Alina Habba, who is currently serving as Trump's attorney for the E. Jean Carroll defamation trial, one of his many ongoing lawsuits.
Quattrucci went on to post the photo on X (formerly known as Twitter):
"Just arrived at President Trump's NH primary victory party and ran into the wonderful Alina Habba."
"Alina is President Trump’s rockstar attorney & a huge inspiration of mine!"
Quattrucci's time at the victory party proved to be surprisingly short-lived, as he eventually found himself escorted out of the party.
Documenting his removal, Quattrucci once again took to X, expressing his confusion and disbelief at his being thrown out of the party in both the video as well as the post's caption:
"I was just kicked out of the Trump victory party for absolutely no reason."
"I was standing there speaking with other Trump supporters when I was asked to leave and pushed out of the venue."
"This is how they treat loyalty."
"If only President Trump knew how his most loyal and dedicated supporters were treated by his staff."
While Quattrucci remained oblivious for some time as to why he was thrown out of the party, it became increasingly clear why he was.
Only 24 hours earlier, Habba had told Judge Lewis Kaplan, the presiding judge in the Carroll case that she had a fever, and wasn't feeling well, asking for a delay in the proceedings.
This came after a juror in the case was excused for the day for illness.
While Judge Kaplan and Carroll's lawyers were fine continuing in the case with just 8 jurors, Habba asked for a delay, citing a fever and that her parents had tested positive for COVID, potentially leaving her exposed as well.
Quattrucci's post prompted NBC News and several other outlets to report on Habba's presence at the New Hampshire victory party, despite her earlier claims of being ill and appearing maskless at the event.
Those not excited at the prospect of Trump returning to the White House couldn't wait to put Quattrucci in his place and tell him exactly why he was being thrown out of the party, with many hoping (likely in vain) that this would teach him a lesson about the former President's loyalty, or lack thereof:
@Dylan4America I love it when Trump supporters get thrown under the bus when he has no more use for them.— (@)
Clearly unmoved by the opinions of others, Quattrucci later posted a follow-up video hoping to, as he said in the video's caption "SET[TING] THE RECORD STRAIGHT":

Quattrucci first made it clear that despite the rather humiliating viral video, his support for Donald Trump remained unwavering and he would still vote for him in November believing him to be the "only man who can save western civilization" among other, somewhat questionable reasons.
He then made it clear that Trump was not the one who had him removed from the event, and he had received several invitations to attend.
Curiously though, Quattrucci also made it clear that this "was not an accident", possibly suggesting that the State Director was the one who had him removed as the man standing next to him came over and told him to leave very quickly after they made eye contact.
Finally, he claims that his expulsion had nothing to do with his picture with "rock star attorney" Alina Habba, as she was seen taking pictures with several other people at the event.
What Quattrucci did not offer alongside those all but baseless reasons he was not kicked out was any opinion or clarity as to why he was.
This isn't the first time Quattrucci went viral for less than celebratory reasons.
A participant in the January 6, 2021 riot on the Capitol, Quattrucci was captured on video making rather frightening threats to police on the scene.
It remains unclear if Habba will face any consequences from Judge Kaplan for her presence at the party despite her claims of being ill.
But having been reprimanded several times over the course of the trial, including being bench slapped 14 times in a single day, one imagines Judge Kaplan was not pleased when the trial resumed on Wednesday.
Interestingly, Trump was furious over the trial's delay, apparently unaware that it was his legal team that requested it.
