Travelers Share The Biggest Culture Shock They've Experienced

The first time you travel outside of your comfort zone, it's amazing. Amazing, but very different. And that difference takes some getting used to--some have a better time with it than others.

I personally moved to the US after 18 years of living in Mexico City, so culture shock was very real for me. One of the things that surprised me the most is how people say hi to each other. In Mexico most people will either hug you or kiss you on the cheek. Here there's a lot of hand shaking.
