Some four and a half years ago, Lady Gaga wondered what this "fortnight" thing was that seemed to be taking the world by storm—and it looks like she finally found out.
In 2019, the singer posed the question to her followers on pre-X Twitter:
"What's fortnight?"
What\u2019s fortnight

At the time, Fortnite was the highest-earning video game in the world...but how was she to know?
On Tuesday, however, it appeared the Grammy-winner not only had her question answered, but she also learned the game's correct spelling.
The "Bad Romance" singer quote-tweeted her old message, adding simply, "*fortnite."
The spelling correction accompanied an image of a Chromatica-inspired avatar, teasing a collaboration with the franchise's upcoming Fortnite Festival.

People on social media were pretty entertained that the tweet—and the correction—made its way back around nearly five years later.
