Beyond Meat Executive Arrested After Biting Another Man's Nose In Bizarre Parking Garage Fight
The Chief Operating Officer of Beyond Meat, Doug Ramsey, was arrested for allegedly biting another man's nose during an altercation in a parking garage following a college football game.
The executive of the vegan food company–which produces plant-based meat substitutes–was charged with terroristic threatening and third-degree battery on September 17, according to KNWA.
The incident happened at a parking garage near Razorback Stadium following Arkansas’ victory over Missouri State.

A responding officer who was dispatched to Gate 15 for “a disturbance that had previously occurred in the Stadium Drive Parking Garage (SDPG)" reportedly found “two males with bloody faces” at the scene.

The officer spoke with both parties and a witness at the scene and determined Ramsey was driving in the garage parking lane when the driver of a Subaru “inched his way” in front of Ramsey's Bronco and made contact with the passenger-side tire.
Ramsey then allegedly got out of his vehicle and “punched through the back windshield of the Subaru."
The owner of the Subaru said Ramsey "pulled him in close and started punching his body."
The report also stated Ramsey “bit the owner’s nose, ripping the flesh on the tip of the nose."

Witnesses said they heard the Beyond Meat COO threatening to kill the owner of the Subaru.
Ramsey was arrested at 10:27 p.m. and booked into the Washington County jail, according to the news outlet.
Ramsey–who had been a member of Tyson Foods’ poultry business since 1992 and was named president of global McDonald’s business in 2019–was named the COO of Beyond Meat in December 2021. A company spokesperson said the executive was suspended over his conduct after the arrest.
He is scheduled for an appearance in the Fayetteville District Court on October 19.
