The Billy on the Street comedian discovered an FBI patch was Scotch-taped to the inner lining of his gym shorts and he had some serious questions.
The 42-year-old posted a video on social media and gave us the rundown.
While holding up the item in question, he said:
"It was like four pieces of Scotch tape taped into my underwear. This was not there when I packed it. Is that normal?"
"Is that allowed? I don't really care. Maybe it was my copy of 'Razzle Dazzle' [written by Michael Riedel] that they thought was a threat."
He said he tried looking for an explanation on Google and could not find anything.
He tagged reputable journalists and TV personalities, including CNN's Jake Tapper and MSNBC's Rachel Maddow, to do a deep dive.
Because Eichner is a prominent comedian and jokester, people thought this might be a funny "bit."
