Trump Bizarrely Suggests That Lyndon B. Johnson Is In Hell—And Approves Of His Ukraine Phone Call, Of Course
President Donald Trump held a rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday night.
To the glee of his supporters, Trump ranted against his impeachment, boasted about his trade deal with China, and chastised numerous protestors who spoke out during the speech.
He also returned to what is apparently becoming a recurring theme throughout his rallies: speculating on where dead lawmakers ended up in the afterlife.
In a bizarre tangent, the President referenced former President Lyndon B. Johnson, claiming that he would approve of the call with the Ukrainian President that got Trump impeached.

He also speculated that Johnson might be in Hell:
"Lyndon Johnson was sort of a tough guy. Can you imagine his phone calls?"
"He's probably looking down, or looking up. He's probably saying, 'These people are going crazy. That's the nicest call I've ever...In fact, somebody said, 'I never knew you could be so nice on the telephone."
Trump insisted that Johnson would approve of the call, but others begged to differ.
What's more, Johnson's calls are recorded and available for listening—a transparency unthinkable in the Trump administration.
This is also the third time Trump has insinuated that a deceased lawmaker is in Hell.
In June of last year, Trump alluded to the late Senator John McCain while discussing the failure to repeal Obamacare. McCain cast the vote that sealed the fate of Trump's failure.
Trump said of the Republicans who voted against the repeal:
"They've gone on to greener pastures—or perhaps far less green pastures. But they're gone. They're gone, Bill. I'm very happy they're gone."
This past December, Trump railed against Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI), before alluding to her late husband, Congressman John Dingell (D-MI), just ahead of her first Christmas as a widow:
" 'John would be so thrilled. He's looking down,' Maybe he's looking up, I don't know."
People are beginning to notice a pattern.
Johnson's whereabouts in the afterlife may be up for debate, but what's not is that Trump's rallies are only going to get uglier.
