Teen Discovers Super Dramatic Movie Trailer She Made When She Was 10 About Her Parents' Divorce, And It Deserves All The Awards
Victoria Valle Remond, known as @filmtrashed on Twitter, has recently unearthed a homemade film trailer that she made as a ten year old.
It's a powerful, emotional piece about the ultimate IRL drama—her parents' divorce.
The video was posted to Twitter on March 3 and features both family photos and various stock pictures relating to divorce.
WHEN I WAS 10 I MADE AN IMOVIE TRAILER FOR MY PARENTS DIVORCE AND I JUST FOUND IT??? 😭😭😭😭 https://t.co/eVJkosgOBX— victoria (@victoria) 1583251944.0
"WHEN I WAS 10 I MADE AN IMOVIE TRAILER FOR MY PARENTS DIVORCE AND I JUST FOUND IT???"
The trailer opens with a dramatic classical score, similar to that of an epic film drama.
"This summer," the title card reads. "One family will face a decision to continue the war or be peaceful."
As the intensity of the soundtrack increases, so does the imagery. A broken wedding cake topper, two rings sitting on a table, and stock photos of a couple yelling are featured between the title cards, as are pictures from the director's parents' wedding.
Reviews for the fake movie are interspersed throughout.

The trailer begins to list off the "awards" that the "film" has been given, including "Official Selection: Broken Family Film Festival" and "Winner: Sad Yet Honest Film Award".
It ends with the film's poignant title—A Shattered Relationship.
Someone give this kid an Oscar.
Many on Twitter are commending the young filmmaker, not just for her editing skills, but also for her unique way of processing trauma. Some are even comparing it to the new film A Marriage Story.
