Marvel actor Xóchitl Gómez shared a video on TikTok of the ankle sprain she suffered during a rehearsal for 'Dancing with the Stars,' and it didn't look pleasant.

Dancing with the Stars frontrunner Xóchitl Gómez suffered a sprained ankle during rehearsals for tonight's show, and the Marvel actor took to TikTok to share the footage.

Paying homage to Gwen Stefani for her upcoming performance set to the song "Hollaback Girl," the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness star captioned her video:

"This shiiii is BANANAS! 🙈😭🤪 im good tho! A lil sprain but WE WORKIN!"

In the TikTok, Gómez performed a sort of one-handed cartwheel and landed awkwardly on her ankle before crumpling to the ground. Her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy immediately rushed to her side.

"Just got an x-ray. No chips no break just a lil sprain 🙈😅"

While the actor did perform in children's musicals from ages 5-12, Gómez credits her dancing skills mostly to TikTok!

She told Parade that during the long pandemic months, she taught herself dances on TikTok.

“I did the ensemble group numbers for the musicals I was in. Honestly, I wasn’t a standout. They usually put me in the back!"
"Then I joined TikTok when COVID kicked in and that’s when I started teaching myself trending dances by watching them on repeat. Learning TikTok dances put me in a happy place while we were locked down and I’m so grateful for it.”

We're so glad she did! And we're so glad she's mending nicely!
