A woman went on vacation and went viral because of it.

Tiktoker Lydia Bird—@lydia_bird3—went on a beautiful, tropical vacation to the gorgeous Dominican Republic.

Her trip, however, came with an unexpected twist—her ex-boyfriend.

Bird and her ex had originally planned and paid for the tropical getaway when the two were still romantically involved.

The pair unfortunately split up before the vacation was supposed to take place.

It turned out, though, the getaway they booked was nonrefundable. Therefore, rather than waste the money they spent and get nothing out of it, the two decided to go on the trip together anyway.

Bird posted several TikToks documenting the potentially awkward vacation that have since gone viral.

As the vacation goes on, many viewers who understandably feared the trip would be extremely awkward, began shipping Bird with her ex and predicting the two might actually get back together.

In the next video, Lydia and her ex make it to their hotel room, just to realize the room only contains one bed.

The two have not officially gotten back together.

Regardless of their relationship status, there are definitely worse ways to spend a vacation.

Pope Leo's Brother Sparks Outrage Over Vile Posts About Nancy Pelosi And Parents Of Trans Kids

The brother of Robert Prevost, a Chicago-born Roman Catholic Augustine cleric who last week became the newly-elected Pope Leo XIV, is facing heated criticism after some of his older Facebook posts resurfaced and revealed that he'd shared a video calling Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi a "drunk c**nt" as well as a transphobic meme about transgender children.

For instance, in an April 23 post, Prevost claimed that former President Obama desired “the total destruction of our way of life” and aimed to turn the U.S. into a dictatorship, adding that it would be “a racist one on top of it.” He had previously pushed a conspiracy theory alleging that “OBAMA WAS A CIA ASSET, PUT IN PLACE TO DESTROY THE USA.”
