In case you somehow missed it, Pixar's Bao nabbed Best Animated Short Film at this year's Oscars. The short is filled with images of a dumpling that looks equal parts adorable and delicious.

Leading up to the awards show, the film's Chinese-Canadian director Domee Shi released her mother's dumpling recipe and one YouTuber has shown us all how to make it.

The recipe includes complete directions for making both the tasty pork filling along with the somewhat intimidating dough.

Youtuber Binging with Babish decided to embark on making Domee Shi's mom's dumplings.

He captioned the cooking tutorial,

"Bao is a beautifully animated, thematically mature, subtle and nuanced portrait of the human condition - in other words, it's a Pixar production. To celebrate the Oscars this coming weekend, let's dive into the director's mom's own recipe, as we attempt to recreate a food so delicious, you'll want to raise it as your own until it tries to leave you and you eat it."

The video shows Babish struggling to make the Bao dumplings, repeatedly making mistakes and encouraging his viewers not to make the same errors.

First he makes the mistake of proving the dough without using that time to mix the filling.

Second he doesn't put oil on the papers he places the dumplings on for steaming. This causes his first batch of dumplings to stick and break when he attempts to pick them up.

Babish's humble tutorial and the delicious result have inspired people everywhere to make their own dumplings.

For others it simply reinforced their love for the Academy Award winning short.

Now I'm hungry.

A crowd of Vice President Kamala Harris's supporters erupted in cheers after former President Barack Obama expertly pointed out during a speech how former President Donald Trump's gripe that Harris had the opportunity to get things done as vice president for the past four years can also be applied to Trump himself.

Obama pointed out that Trump and his running mate J.D. Vance do not actually have answers addressing specific policy issues and instead rely on anti-immigration rhetoric to scare people into voting for them.
