Chances are you've met some nasty people out there, but we like to think most people tend to keep a fairly clean and habitable living space. Even so, there are plenty of things that even the most generally clean person tends to overlook. Yes, believe it or not, there are some parts of your home that are typically pretty gross!

And we haven't even gotten started on all the things that are outside!

Lesson learned thanks to Redditor Mullacnagrom, who asked the online community: "What is very unhygienic that people may not realize?"

"Because people are gross."

Giphy

Money is gross. Every piece of money. Because it's been handled by every person right after they've done everything. Every gross thing.

Because people are gross.

You all disgust me.

"Pick your nose..."

Picking your nose. Not because boogers but because you can actually inoculate a flu or cold virus into your nasal cavity where it just loves to be.

Pick your nose all you want but wash your hands first. Treat your nose holes like your mouth holes and don't put dirty things in.

"That's why..."

Clean your butt cracks in the shower people

"I don't want to, that's gross"

That's why you should clean it.

"People don't replace..."

People don't replace their sponges nearly as often as they should. i hate going to someone's house and they have a disgusting, discolored sponge.

"Your..."

Your computer keyboard, holy CRAP is it filthy.

geologykitty

"Going to work..."

Going to work with the flu.

You can be as careful as you want but even exhaling produces fine aerosols that can travel in the air and make others up to 6ft around you sick.

It's disgusting. Stay home.

Also get your flu shot two weeks before flu season begins. It takes two weeks to kick in. Many people think the flu shot made them sick when the truth is, they got the flu shot too late and got sick before it was effective or got a different strain of the flu.

"Not washing..."

Not washing hands, considering how many people I see do it when they come out of the bathroom. Like seriously, you just touched your penis and probably have poo on them too.

"When restaurants..."

When restaurants leave unwrapped plastic cutlery so you can just help yourself... imagine all those peoples' dirty hands touching the fork that eventually ends up in your mouth.

ros-ubhal

"Touched by everyone..."

Restaurant menus. Touched by everyone before you and for most people, such as myself, I tend to forget to wash my hands before the food comes out.

ChickpeaChick

"Their phones."

Their phones. I mean, how much porn did you watch on it and how often do you clean the phone...think about it. And when was the last time you took a crap without your phone. But feel free to never wipe it down and press it against your face to take a call.

Ted Cruz Tries To Mock 'Morning Joe' Hosts For Trump Visit—And Gets Hit With Brutal Reminder

After Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz appeared on Fox News and made a crass joke about Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski's recent trip to Mar-a-Lago, he was instantly called out for his hypocrisy on social media.

Cruz's comments followed the revelation by Scarborough and Brzezinski—two of the most outspoken cable news critics of President-elect Donald Trump during the 2024 election campaign—that they had met with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate for clear-the-air discussions. The meeting marked their first face-to-face interaction in seven years.
