Mom Allows 15-Year-Old Daughter To Get A Tattoo For A Very Touching Reason—And Now We're Crying 😭❤️

Parents don't always make the best decisions for their kids. At first glance, this Idaho mom appears to be one of those parents due to the fact that she let her 15-year-old daughter get a tattoo. But if you look a little closer you'll see that this mom's call was actually the best thing she could have done for her daughter.

Diana Register is the mom of two girls. The youngest is 15-year-old Kaitlyn Register.

Recently the teenager asked her mom if she could get a tattoo.

Surprisingly, Diana said "yes".

Only an irresponsible mother would allow such a thing, right?

Wrong.

Diana is an author and a speaker. She is also a widow.

When Kaitlyn was 13, Diana's husband and father to their children passed away.

Chad was a law enforcement officer and he died after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Diana described Chad as "one-of-a-kind", "humble", "generous" and "compassionate".

Kaitlyn decided that she wanted to honor her exemplary father by tattooing his badge number in Roman numerals on her foot.

Since minors between the ages of 14 and 18 must have parental consent to get a tattoo in Idaho, Kaitlyn had to get permission from her Mom.

Diana happily obliged.

When addressing criticism she has received for her parenting choice, Diana said,

"I don't care what people think of the fact that I let her get a tattoo. I think that those people who might be judging us are people who have maybe not suffered the kind of loss that she has."

Kaitlyn feels like like her ink is an important physical memory.

"When I look at it I think that, obviously, I think of my dad and I think of how it's cool to have something like that on me forever."

Despite what one may think, the internet has rallied behind Diana's decision.

Swiss Church Sparks Debate After Introducing Bizarre AI Jesus Hologram To Take Confessions

A church in Switzerland is stirring debate with its use of an AI-generated Jesus hologram for confessions. Dubbed Deus in Machina (“God in Machine”), the project is installed at St. Peter’s Chapel in Lucerne, the city’s oldest Catholic church.

The hologram, developed by experts from Lucerne University’s Immersive Realities Center and a parish theologian, greets users with, “Peace be with you, brother,” and invites them to share what’s troubling their hearts. It can respond in 100 languages, with answers based on sacred scripture and theological texts sourced from the internet.
